1° Edizione - 11/16 Giugno 2024
1. ISCRIZIONI
Sono ammesse all’evento tutte le persone, appartenenti ad ogni nazionalità, che abbiano compiuto il 18° anno di età al momento dell’iscrizione.
I. Le iscrizioni al Trail dei Papi 2024 sono aperte dalle ore 00:01 del giorno 01 Dicembre 2023 alle ore 23:59 del giorno 02 Maggio 2024.
II. Data la lunghezza del percorso e le difficoltà altimetriche il numero massimo di iscritti è stabilito in 1000 partecipanti.
III. La quota di iscrizione è pari a € 80 commissioni incluse.
IV. I primi 100 iscritti riceveranno, oltre al pacco gara, anche un gadget a ricordo dell’evento.
2. TESSERE, CERTIFICATI MEDICI E ASSICURAZIONE
I. Essere tesserati non è obbligatorio per poter partecipare al trail dei Papi.
II. Tuttavia i partecipanti italiani iscritti ad una A.S.D. affiliata alla FCI, UCI, ACSI, CSAIN, CSI, UISP potranno esibire la tessera personale, inviandone una copia a info@traildeipapi.it entro la chiusura delle iscrizioni all’evento.
III. Il certificato medico per attività ciclistica (conforme al DM 18/02/1982 e al DM 26/04/2013 rilasciato da un medico o da un centro medico sportivo) deve essere caricato come allegato pdf al modulo d’iscrizione, indipendentemente dal possesso di una tessera di affiliazione (FCI, UCI, ACSI, CSAIN, CSI, UISP).
IV. Il certificato medico è obbligatorio per la partecipazione all’evento e deve essere in corso di validità durante lo stesso.
V. Qualora l’iscritto non possa partecipare per motivi non dipendenti dall’organizzazione le quote di iscrizione versate non sono rimborsabili, non possono essere trasferite ad altro partecipante e non possono essere congelate ad altra edizione salvo infortuni gravi o incidenti opportunamente certificati da strutture sanitarie pubbliche. In questo caso l’organizzazione tratterrà il 20% della quota d’iscrizione.
VI. In caso di annullamento dell’evento o dello spostamento dello stesso ad altra data per cause di forza maggiore (allerte ambientali/sanitarie a livello nazionale e internazionale) la quota d’iscrizione non sarà rimborsata ma sarà congelata per l’edizione successiva.
VII. La non idoneità fisica e il certificato medico sospeso o scaduti non costituiscono motivo di rimborso della quota di iscrizione.
VIII. L’evento si svolgerà con qualsiasi condizione meteo.
3. PARTENZA E PERCORSO
I. La partenza del Trail dei Papi avverrà:
– Giorno 11 giugno 2024 dalle ore 12.00 alle ore 20.00;
– Giorno 12 giugno 2024 dalle ore 10.00 alle ore 16.00;
– Giorno 13 giugno 2024 dalle ore 10.00 alle ore 16.00;
Non sono ammesse partenze in orari diversi da quelli sopraindicati.
Alla partenza sarà consegnato il seguente materiale:
– Brevetto per la timbratura presso i punti di controllo;
– Pettorale identificativo da esporre ben visibile sulla bici frontalmente (su manubrio o borsa portaoggetti);
– Braccialetto da indossare per tutta la manifestazione (per l’accesso al Villaggio e per i punti di ristoro);
– Cappellino della Ditta Pasol;
II. Il percorso ha una lunghezza di circa 700 km e m 6500 di dislivello positivo che si sviluppano su sentieri, strade bianche e strade asfaltate secondarie del Lazio.
III. Lungo il tracciato, al fine di evitare tagli del percorso, saranno istituiti dei punti di controllo presso i quali dovrà essere timbrato il Brevetto individuale.
IV. Un’anteprima del tracciato ad anello è visionabile sul sito www.traildeipapi.it, sebbene dopo le verifiche primaverili potrebbero esservi delle variazioni, anche sostanziali.
V. Circa una settimana prima della partenza ad iscritto verrà inviata una mail contenente il tracciato in formato gpx definitivo.
VI. Il partecipante dovrà caricare la traccia fornita sul suo dispositivo GPS e seguirla dall’inizio alla fine.
VII. Il tracciato ad anello partirà e terminerà presso il Trail dei Papi Village destinato ad accogliere i partecipanti a Bracciano (RM).
VIII. Presso il Villaggio sarà presente un registro “Finisher” dove il partecipante dovrà segnare Cognome, Nome, Numero di Pettorale, data e ora di arrivo al fine di poter approntare il Diploma di Attestata partecipazione che sarà inviato agli interessati tramite posta elettronica.
IX. Ai Finisher sarà offerto un pasto gratuito e una bevanda adeguato all’orario di arrivo:
– dalle 08.00 alle 22.00
X. I servizi di accoglienza e ristorazione presso il Villaggio saranno disponibili fino a lunedì 17 giugno alle ore 20.00 termine di chiusura dell’evento;
XI. Presso il Villaggio sarà a disposizione gratuitamente un punto spogliatoi, docce e servizi igienici.
4. AVVERTENZE DI CARATTERE GENERALE
I. Il Trail dei Papi è un’avventura su strade asfaltate, strade bianche e sentieri; tutto il percorso sarà sempre aperto al traffico e pertanto è obbligatorio per tutti i partecipanti rispettare il Codice della Strada.
II. L’iscritto:
– è consapevole che viaggia a proprio rischio e pericolo su percorso non segnalato;
– è considerato in libera escursione personale senza alcun diritto in più rispetto agli altri utenti dei sentieri e delle strade.
– è consapevole che non è presente alcun servizio di assistenza sanitaria, alimentare e meccanica da parte degli organizzatori lungo il tracciato;
– è consapevole di viaggiare in autonomia per quanto riguarda cibo, soste ed eventuali necessità tecniche e sanitarie;
– è consapevole che non è presente il servizio di recupero dei ritirati e non sussistono obblighi di ricerca da parte degli organizzatori dei partecipanti sul percorso;
– si impegna a comunicare il proprio ritiro all’organizzazione inviando un sms/WhatsApp al numero di telefono (+39 327 4008158 – +39 389 1454640) o un email a info@traildeipapi.it;
– è consapevole che l’A.S.D. organizzatrice Trail dei Papi non è un ente organizzatore professionale, ma la stessa agisce per soli fini ludici e non patrimoniali. Ne consegue pertanto che l’escursione ciclistica Trail dei Papi è da intendersi quale mera riunione e partecipazione spontanea ed indipendente di cicloturisti e cicloamatori in escursione libera e personale.
– si impegna a mantenere un comportamento corretto prima, durante e dopo la manifestazione. In particolare si impegna a rispettare e mantenere puliti i luoghi attraversati: prati, boschi, sentieri e proprietà agricole, e a non gettare lungo il percorso rifiuti e a conferirli negli appositi contenitori di raccolta.
– dichiara di essere a conoscenza che il Trail dei Papi è una escursione non competitiva e senza classifica e dichiara di avere una buona attitudine a sostenere sforzi fisici prolungati, anche in condizioni meteo estreme, all’orientamento e all’utilizzo degli strumenti di navigazione.
– è consapevole che ogni supporto esterno è vietato tranne in caso di emergenza.
– dichiara di assumersi ogni responsabilità che possa derivare dall’esercizio dell’attività sportiva nel corso della manifestazione, manlevando l’A.S.D. organizzatrice Trail dei Papi da qualsivoglia responsabilità, diretta ed indiretta.
– dichiara contestualmente all’iscrizione di aver visionato e approvato il regolamento Trail dei Papi e di accettarne ogni singolo punto.
– dichiara di possedere una buona tecnica di guida tale da consentirgli il superamento di tratti accidentati presenti lungo il percorso nel modo a lui più congeniale (procedendo a piedi o in sella).
– dichiara di essere preparato ad affrontare situazioni di emergenza naturali (es. frane, maltempo estremo, nebbia, ecc.) o imprevisti causati da animali o cose.
– dichiara di manlevare l’A.S.D. Trail dei Papi da ogni responsabilità derivante da furti o danneggiamenti di qualsiasi oggetto personale appartenente a sé o a terzi che si verificasse prima, durante e dopo lo svolgimento della manifestazione.
III. La A.S.D. organizzatrice sopracitata è sollevata, e in ogni caso manlevata, da qualsiasi responsabilità per tutti gli eventuali danni che dovessero derivare, ai partecipanti nel corso della manifestazione.
IV. KIT OBBLIGATORIO. Per la propria sicurezza gli iscritti dovranno portare il seguente equipaggiamento:
– Casco (da indossare sempre quando si è in bicicletta;)
– Gilet catarifrangente per l’andatura notturna;
– Luce anteriore e posteriore;
– Cellulare o Dispositivo GPS;
– Documento d’identità;
– Kit di primo soccorso base;
– Kit riparazione bici;
– Avvisatore acustico (campanello o fischietto);
– Power Bank (consigliato per ricariche di emergenza).
5. MANLEVA, TRATTAMENTO DEI DATI PERSONALI E UTILIZZO IMMAGINE
Al presente regolamento viene allegata dichiarazione liberatoria riguardante la manleva, il trattamento dei dati personali e l’utilizzo dell’immagine, che dovrà essere debitamente compilata e firmata (si raccomanda firma autografa e non firma scannerizzate e stampata) e caricata come allegato pdf al modulo d’iscrizione.
1. REGISTRATIONS
All people, belonging to any nationality, who are at least 18 years of age at the time of registration are admitted to the event.
I. Registrations for the Trail of the Popes 2024 are open from 00:01 on 01 December 2023 to 23:59 on 02 May 2024.
II. Given the length of the route and the altitude difficulties, the maximum number of participants is set at 1000 participants.
III. The registration fee is €80 including commissions.
IV. The first 100 registered participants will receive, in addition to the race package, a gadget to commemorate the event.
2. CARDS, MEDICAL CERTIFICATES AND INSURANCE
I. Being a member is not mandatory to participate in the Popes’ Trail.
II. However, the Italian participants enrolled in an A.S.D. affiliated to the FCI, UCI, ACSI, CSAIN, CSI, UISP, can show your personal card by sending a copy to info@traildeipapi.it by the closing date for registration for the event.
III. The medical certificate for cycling activity (in compliance with the Ministerial Decree 02/18/1982 and the Ministerial Decree 04/26/2013 issued by a doctor or a sport medical center) must be uploaded as a PDF attachment to the registration form, regardless of the possession of an affiliation card (FCI, UCI, ACSI, CSAIN, CSI, UISP).
IV. The medical certificate is mandatory for participation in the event and must be valid during the event.
V. If the member cannot participate for reasons beyond the control of the organization, the registration fees paid are non-refundable, cannot be transferred to another participant and cannot be frozen to another edition except for serious injuries or accidents appropriately certified by health facilities public. In this case the organization will retain 20% of the registration fee.
VI. In the event of cancellation of the event or its moving to another date due to causes of force majeure (environmental/health alerts at national and international level) the registration fee will not be refunded but will be frozen for the next edition.
VII. Physical unfitness and suspended or expired medical certificate do not constitute grounds for reimbursement of the registration fee.
VIII. The event will take place in any weather condition.
3. DEPARTURE AND ROUTE
I. The departure of the Trail of the Popes will take place:
– Day 11 June 2024 from 12.00 to 20.00;
– Day 12 June 2024 from 10.00 to 16.00;
– Day 13 June 2024 from 10.00 to 16.00;
Departures at times other than those indicated above are not permitted.
Upon departure the following material will be delivered:
– BREVETTO (signature book) for stamping at control points;
– Identification bib to be displayed clearly visible on the bike from the front (on the handlebars or storage bag);
– Bracelet to be worn throughout the event (for access to the Village and for the refreshment points);
– Pasol company cap;
II. The route has a length of approximately 700 km and 6500 m of positive altitude difference which develops on paths, dirt roads and secondary asphalted roads in Lazio.
III. In order to avoid cuts in the route, control points will be established along the route where the individual BREVETTO (signature book) must be stamped.
IV. A preview of the circular route can be viewed on the website www.traildeipapi.it, although after the spring checks there could be some variations, even substantial ones.
V. Approximately one week before departure, an email will be sent to the subscriber containing the final route in GPX format.
VI. The participant will have to load the track provided onto his GPS device and follow it from start to finish.
VII. The circular route will start and end at the Trail dei Papi Village intended to welcome participants in Bracciano (RM).
VIII. At the Village there will be a “Finisher” register where the participant must write down their surname, name, bib number, date and time of arrival in order to prepare the participation certificate diploma which will be sent to interested parties via email.
IX. Finishers will be offered a free meal and drink appropriate to their arrival time:
– from 08.00 to 22.00
X. The reception and catering services at the Village will be available until Monday 17 June at 8pm, closing date of the event;
XI. A changing room, showers and toilets will be available free of charge in the Village.
4. GENERAL WARNINGS
I. The Trail of the Popes is an adventure on asphalt roads, dirt roads and paths; the entire route will always be open to traffic and therefore it is mandatory for all participants to respect OF THE TRAFFIC LAWS.
II. The member:
– is aware that travels at own risk on an unmarked route;
– is considered to be on a free personal excursion without any additional rights compared to other users of the paths and roads.
– is aware that there is no health, food and mechanical assistance service provided by the organizers along the route;
– is aware of traveling independently with regards to food, stops and any technical and health needs;
– is aware that there is no recovery service for those who have withdrawn and there are no search obligations on the part of the organizers of the participants on the route;
– undertakes to communicate their withdrawal to the organization by sending an SMS/WhatsApp to the telephone number (+39 327 4008158 – +39 389 1454640) or an email to info@traildeipapi.it;
– is aware that the A.S.D. organizer Trail dei Papi is not a professional organizing body, but it acts only for recreational and non-economic purposes. It therefore follows that the Trail dei Papi cycling excursion is to be understood as a mere meeting and spontaneous and independent participation of cycle tourists and cycle amateurs on a free and personal excursion.
– undertakes to maintain correct behavior before, during and after the event. In particular, it undertakes to respect and keep clean the places crossed: meadows, woods, paths and agricultural properties, and not to throw waste along the route and to place it in the appropriate collection containers.
– declares to be aware that the Trail of the Popes is a non-competitive and unranked excursion and declares to have a good aptitude for sustaining prolonged physical efforts, even in extreme weather conditions, orientation and the use of navigation instruments.
– is aware that any external support is prohibited except in cases of emergency.
– declares to assume all responsibility that may derive from the exercise of sporting activity during the event, indemnifying the A.S.D. organizer of the Popes’ Trail from any responsibility, direct or indirect.
-declares upon registration that you have seen and approved the Trail dei Papi regulations and that you accept every single point.
– declares that he has good driving technique which allows him to overcome rough sections along the route in the way most suited to him (proceeding on foot or in the saddle).
– declares to be prepared to deal with natural emergency situations (e.g. landslides, extreme bad weather, fog, etc.) or unexpected events caused by animals or things.
– declares to indemnify the A.S.D. Trail dei Papi from any liability deriving from theft or damage to any personal object belonging to itself or to third parties that occurs before, during and after the event.
III. The A.S.D. the aforementioned organizer is relieved, and in any case indemnified, from any responsibility for any damage that may arise to the participants during the event.
IV. MANDATORY KIT. For their own safety, participants must bring the following equipment:
– Helmet (always wear when cycling;)
– Reflective vest for night riding;
– Front and rear light;
– Cell phone or GPS device;
– Identity card;
– Basic first aid kit;
– Bike repair kit;
– Acoustic warning device (bell or whistle);
– Power Bank (recommended for emergency recharging).
5. INDEMNITY, PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND USE OF IMAGE
A disclaimer regarding the indemnity, the processing of personal data and the use of the image is attached to this regulation, which must be duly completed and signed (handwritten signature is recommended and not scanned and printed signature) and uploaded as a PDF attachment to the form of registration.
